Researchers at the Department of Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine,
one of the foremost medical research institutions in the world, have demonstrated that IMMUNE+ stimulated IL1B production in the human blood in vitro.
** IL1B is a cytokine -- a white blood cell -- that is a key component of the human immune system, which is
important in our daily body defenses.
The findings of the U.C. Davis study are published in Volume 4, Number 1, 2001 issue of the Journal of Medicinal Food.
